Joanne Tinker is an artist who called herself ‘collectaholic’ as she collects sweet wrappers, bottle tops, buttons, butterflies, and papers. They are all collected and stored in her studio, waiting to be given a new life.
She turns common, everyday materials into large, beautiful and kaleidoscopic pieces.
Her most known artwork is miniature goblet artworks, all created using recycled sweet wrappers.
Joanne Tinker’s artwork is at London’s Science Museum, in the Museum of Art and design in New York, and also in the White Rabbit Collection, Sydney.
